On Wednesday, May 27, over 200 Subud members congregated, along with around 1000 pilgrims and visitors, at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela (photo), in northwestern Spain, final destination of those walking the 'camino' pilgrimage. Around 65 members walked the last 10 kms, 65 the last 5, and the rest through the inner city.

Paloma de la Viña, chairlady of Subud Spain, had arranged for the World Subud Association to make an invocation during the 12:00 mass. Here the text that was read to the whole congregation in Spanish by the WSA chairlady, Osanna Vaughn:

We, the World Subud Association, are a group of people of all nationalities, all beliefs and all cultures, with a common aim: to improve ourselves as human beings through our worship of God.

The Association exists to create the spaces that allow us to practice our worship of God and its expression in our daily lives - expression that manifests in a variety of forms such as, for example, social, entrepreneurial and cultural projects.

With this we hope to contribute to harmony and understanding between human beings and the attainment of a better world.

We ask the Apostle Santiago (St. James) to accompany us on our 'camino' (path) and to bless our efforts.

El miércoles, 27 de mayo, más de 200 miembros Subud se congregaron, junto con alrededor de 1.000 peregrinos y visitantes, en la Catedral de Santiago de Compostela (foto), en el noroeste de España, destino final de estos caminando por el "camino" peregrinación. Alrededor de 65 miembros caminado los últimos 10 kms, 65 de los últimos 5, y el resto a través del centro de la ciudad.

Paloma de la Viña, chairlady de Subud España, ha organizado la Asociación Mundial Subud para hacer una invocación en masa durante la 12:00. Aquí el texto que fue leído a toda la congregación en español por la Autoridad del Sáhara Occidental chairlady, Osanna Vaughn:

Nosotros, la Asociación Mundial Subud, somos un grupo de personas de todas las nacionalidades, todos los credos y todas las culturas, con un meta en común: mejorar como seres humanos por medio de nuestra adoración a Dios.

La Asociación existe para crear los espacios que nos permitan esa adoración a Dios y su expresión en nuestra vida diaria. Expresión que se manifiesta de diversas maneras como, por ejemplo, proyectos sociales, empresariales y culturales.

Con esto esperamos contribuir a la armonia y el entendimiento entre los seres humanos para poder llegar a tener un mundo mejor.

Pedimos al Apostol Santiágo que nos acompañe en este camino y que bendiga nuestros esfuerzos.
